Disadvantages of Print:
- Cameras are generally heavier
- Film can take up lots of space
- Film is a continuing cost
- The pictures must be developed before being viewed
- Unless you have a darkroom, you have to rely on the lab to edit your pictures
- Cameras are generally lighter
- Memory cards can store more images than a dozen rolls of film
- Memory cards are small
- Pictures can be viewed immediately
- Pictures can be edited
Disadvantages of Digital:
- Higher initial cost
- Can easily lose detail in black and white
- Potential equipment failures
- Need for a computer literacy
- Low-light performance
